Creative Arts Workshops
DICE additionally runs inclusive arts and creative workshops for disabled children and young people. Creative workshops use visual & media arts, photography, film and music to engage with children and young people.
We are able to facilitiate the following creative experiences:
Storytelling : family Stories, folk Tales
Music, percussion and drumming games
Den building: various methods and styles
Messy Art; homemade and multisensory approaches
Games e.g. obstacle course, homemade crazy golf,
Multi‐media and technological play
Nature trails, outdoor exploration
Yoga and relaxation
Making and using puppets
The Inclusive Arts workshops can be booked for a series of individual experiences or for a project.
DICE workshops are sensitively constructed to enable disabled children to respond to a range of stimulus in a meaningful and developmentally appropriate way.
Projects and workshops for 11 – 25 yr olds can be accredited through the ARTS AWARD qualification structure. Other accreditation can be provided through the Youth Achievement Awards and The Gateway Awards.
