Martin Goodwin - Executive Director
Martin Goodwin is the Executive Director of D.I.C.E CIC which was was origionally formed in October 2005 and incorperated with CIC status in June 2010.
Martin Goodwin is an experienced practitioner who has 16 years experience in working with children and young people in a range of capacities including management and direct delivery.
Martins professional experience is primarily working with children, young people and adults with learning disabilities including autism, profound and multiple disability and severe learning disability in a range of capacities including play and leisure, education, youth work, participation and advocacy.
Martin Goodwin is a Certified Trainer (CIPD) and Childrens Rights Advocate (OCN) who is qualified with a BA Hons in Learning Disability Studies and a Postgraduate Qualification in Community Education. Martin is currently completing an MA in Youth and Community Development
Liz Mander - Finance Director
Liz Mander is our Finance Director. Liz is responsible for finance planning and financial adminstration.
Cath Edwards - Director
Cath is a qualified teacher with a B.ed in Early Years. Cath has worked with children and young people with severe special educational needs for over thirty years. Cath is a master NLP practioner and Yoga Teacher.
Jennie Morton - Development Worker
Jennie is qualified with a BA Hons in Learning Disability Studies and is skilled in working with learning disabled adults in residential and community environments. Jennie supports the develpment of publications, consultancy and training.
Lisa Smith - Development Worker
Lisa is qualified as an teaching assistant, legal sectory and has experience of being an advocate and participation worker with looked after children. Lisa supports the development of training and advocacy.
Eliese Phillips - Lead Quality Assurance Officer
Elise is a qualified assessor, internal verifier, external verifier and further education teacher. Elise is responsible for quality assuring our training and service accreditation.
D.I.C.E uses skilled associates who are highly experienced in working with disabled children and young people. D.I.C.E associates are employed to provide training, consultancy, research, participatory arts experiences and advocacy. D.I.C.E uses a quality assurance and recruitment process to ensure that associates can deliver high quality work. D.I.C.E associates are matched to pieces of work based on thier skills, qualities, availability and relevent professional experience.
DICE associates need to have a level 3 or 4 certificate in learning and development and a Degree or above in occupational area. We require that Associaltes have five years occupational experience within the field and a minimum of one year post qualifying training experiencs. We require that all associates continue to advance their learning through ongoing CPD activities.

D.I.C.E aims to ensure the provision of responsive services that support disabled children and young people aged 0 – 25 especially with severe, profound and complex needs to have a meaningful and exceptional life by participating and being included and respected in their communities and services they use.
Our role is to support organizations to develop responsive services that are effective in meeting the aspirations, support needs and rights of disabled children and young people through the provision of Training, Consultancy, Research and Publications, Creative Participation and Engagement, Advocacy and Person Centred Planning.
· To provide training, consultancy, research and development services that are commercially funded by specialist and universal organisations and services working with disabled children and young people
· To provide training, volunteering and work experience opportunities for young disabled people
· To develop specialist products and resources that support the inclusion of disabled children and young people
· To provide independent 1- 1 advocacy, person centred planning, visiting advocacy and citizen/ peer advocacy to disabled children and young people aged 0- 25.
· To provide creative participation and engagement projects for disabled children and young people through statutory commissioned sources, private companies and grants
